Rural Development & Panchayats Minister appeals to Rural Doctors & Pharmacists to perform frontline duty during crises period of COVID-19
Tript Bajwa to take up demands of Rural Doctors & Pharmacists in a week with CM
Rural Development Minister also lauds the efforts of Rural Doctors and Pharmacists during Corona pandemic
Chandigarh, May 01:-The Punjab Rural Development and Panchayats Minister Mr. Tript Rajinder Singh Bajwa has appealed to the Rural Doctors and Pharmacists of Punjab to perform their duty with full dedication as frontline workers with the Health Department.
The Minister said that during this crisis situation due to Covid-19, the whole state is facing tough times. Hence, the doctors and pharmacists of the Rural Development Department should join shoulder to shoulder to save the precious lives of people of the state.
Mr. Tript Bajwa also said that the Punjab Government is already aware of the demands of the Rural Doctors and Pharmacists which have been brought to the knowledge of the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. The Minister said that he has always tried to address their genuine problems and demands positively.
He further said that next week all the demands would be discussed with the Chief Minister and he is hopeful of the positive outcome.
The Minsiter further said that during the crisis time when the whole state machinery and resources were being utilized to save the lives of the people therefore the rural doctors and pharmacists should also lead by example by performing their duty to the best despite of their problems. The Minister also lauded the contribution of the rural doctors and pharmacists who have played a pivotal role in saving the lives of people during the corona pandemic.
